2012 RDS Student Art Awards - Call for Entries

This Competition is open to all full and part-time registered students of art colleges in Ireland. Entrants can also enter the RDS National Crafts Competition should they meet the terms and conditions of the Competition.

Please note the following:

    Read the terms and conditions of entry first. Check the information relating to eligibility and conditions relating to each award.
    Prepare the information you want to submit in a Word document prior to filling in the online application form. This helps to avoid mistakes. Ensure that you include your entry description and the text you would like the judge to know as well as like to see appear in the catalogue should you be selected for exhibition.
    When uploading your photo submission ensure that the image is in the correct format and size.
    To pay your online entry fee make sure to have your payment type ready (Visa, Laser, Mastercard).
    When you have completed your online application form you will receive an email within 24 hours with all the information that you submitted.
    Check that this information is accurate and that the image you submitted is correct. Incorrect or corrupt images will not be accepted.
    If you do not receive an email within 24 hours please contact the Arts Department immediately.
    The email will also have the PDF of the Affirmation Form (9kb) which you need to get signed by your lecturer. You can download it here in advance before you apply online to save time.

Important dates for the Awards:

Deadline: June 15 at 5.00pm
Delivery of Entries: June 20 & 21
Collection of unsuccessful entries: July 9 & 10
Awards Prize-giving: August 9
Exhibition opens during the Dublin Horse Show: August 15-19 *(entry fee applies)
RDS Student Art Awards Travelling Exhibition: September to November.

Entry fee:

€10 per entry (Maximum of three entries per student. An entry is defined as one piece of work or a series from the same body of work.)
