Visual Artists Ireland will host 'Get Together 2012' on Friday, June 15th in Limerick College of Art & Design. The day will provide lively engagement for professional visual artists interested in the wide range of professional supports available. Combining information sessions and discussion groups with opportunities for formal and informal networking, the event will bring artists, curators, art directors, and key support organisations together for a day of information sharing.  The event will also include a symposium on the future challenges of critical engagement with the visual arts, and a series of presentations surrounding current discussions taking place within academic programmes both in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
