National Day of Music flagship performance in Limerick,
love:live music Limerick flagship performance Friday 16th April
To celebrate love:live music in Limerick,
Music Network in association with RTE lyric fm presents...
"The most gifted young pianist on the scene”, (The Irish Times) Greg Felton and his trio band mates (Cormac O’Brien, double bass, Seán Carpio, drums) who will team up with special guest vocalist Isa Wiss.
Also performing are the three exciting young talents of Syrius Trio (Elizabeth Cooney, violin, Jane Cords-O’Hara, cello and Bobby Chen piano), who present the repertoire of the piano trio in a fresh and dynamic way.
Complementing the concert are early music duo Tonos (Roisin O Grady, soprano and Eamon Sweeney, baroque guitar) who specialise in the little-known repertoire for voice and guitar from the to seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
Highlights from this afternoon concert will be broadcast on RTÉ Lyric fm's John Kelly Ensemble.
