Laboratory Services

The Veterinary laboratory analyses meat and meat products processed in the city as well as milk sold at retail level. The laboratory also analyses water samples for the Environment Department of Limerick City Council. Under a Section 59 Agreement the services of the Chief Veterinary Officer and those of the laboratory are shared with Clare County Council.
