National Spring Clean

The month of April is National Spring Clean  month.   Volunteers across the city get out and clean up greens and other local areas. Clean up kits are available from An Taisce and Limerick City Council. 

The aim is to:
  • Heighten awareness of litter and waste issues
  • Encourage clean-ups throughout the whole month of April
  • Promote the notion of personal responsibility for litter

How to take part in National Spring Clean 2009 (82 Kb)

Limerick City Council will assist groups at any time of the year with local clean ups.  Gloves and bags will be provided and arrangements once the clean up is complete the litter will be collected.
