The Environment Awareness Officer works with schools and community groups to raise awareness about managing waste better, home composting and litter. If you would like a presentation on any of these topics please contact Sinead Mc Donnell, Environment Awareness Officer.

The environment department of the City Council works with schools through the An Taisce Green Schools Programme.   This is a worldwide educational initaitive which is part funded by individual local authorities nationally.
