Limerick Looking Good
The aim of Limerick Looking Good is to encourage and recognise the efforts made by individuals, businesses, residents associations and other groups to improve their premises and general areas by tackling litter, use of floral displays and carrying out enhancement works.
Successful entries in the City Street & Residential Area Categories, and under the Special Category Headings, go forward to represent Limerick in the National "City Neighbourhoods" Competition.
The main categories in the "Limerick looking Good competition" are:
- Best Residential Area (housing estate, appartment complex and residential street categories)
- Special Category Nominations
- Best Residential Front Garden
You can make Special category entry or entries under the following headings:
- Best shop front
- Best retail body / supermarket
- Best public services building
- Best industrial estate / business park / retail park
- Best premises providing hospitality services
- Best civic works (urban renewal projects)
The closing date for all categories of the Limerick Looking Good competitioin is Friday, 22nd June 2007.
