Interruption to Water Supply
Announcement regarding interruption to water supply as a result of a Burst Water main
Limerick City Council wish to advise that to facilitate the repair of a burst water main on the Childers Road, a water shut down will be required.
This will result in an interruption to the water supply in the following areas,
- Janesboro Area,
- Roxboro Area,
- Ballinacurra Area
- Dock Road
In order to redirect available water to the remaining areas, the City Centre and North of the City will suffer from reduced water pressures for the duration of this repair.
This water shut down will take immediate effect.
Works are commencing to repair this water main, and it is expected to have these repairs completed with the water restored by 8.00pm this evening.
Limerick City Council regrets any inconvenience caused to traders, residents and road users.
