Office of the Mayor

In carrying out his functions as Mayor and First Citizen, the Mayor acts as Chairman of all Statutory meetings of the City Council. He receives Visitors from Ireland and abroad on behalf of the City and affords Mayoral Receptions as maybe appropriate.

The present Mayor is Councillor Jim Long and his Secretary is Ms. Siobhan Carroll.
