Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival

The City of Learning Steering Group was established by Limerick City Development Board in 2002. The aim of the Steering Group is to promote the value of learning in Limerick, across all stages of the life cycle; and to support the range of relevant sectoral networks and groups in their efforts to engage people in positive learning experiences. Work was completed in 2008 on a strategy for developing Limerick as a Learning City – culminating in the launch of ‘Limerick City of Learning – A Collaborative Framework for Progress’, in November 2008. Please see below for the strategy.

Limerick's Lifelong Learning Festival has been running for the last 3 years with the number of events increasing each year.  Please see brochure and flyer below for more information.
