Composting at Home

Composting is:simplecheapreduces waste going to landfill
Up to 30% of waste in your bin can be composted. By getting involved in Home Composting you will be actively helping to divert waste from landfill. Home composters, €30 available from Limerick City Council while stocks last.
How do I pay? The €30.00 may be paid to Limerick City Council by:
calling into the Cash Office on the Ground Floor of City Hall, Monday - 9.15 am - 4.15pm.Send a cheque to the Environment D epartment, 2nd floor, City Hall, Merchants Quay. A receipt will be sent to you by post.
Composters can then be collected from the
Park Road Depot, Park Road (near musgraves cash and carry), Monday – Friday 9.00 am – 4.00 pm
You must have a receipt to collect a composter.
