Rep of Ireland v Australia International Soccer Friendly

Limerick city is eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Republic of Ireland and Australia international soccer teams who will play in the city tomorrow night, Wednesday, August 12th 2009.
Republic of Ireland and FAI flags have added a splash of colour to the city and are adorning the city’s bridges and O’Connell Street for the clash which will bring thousands of visitors to the Mid-West.
Limerick’s pioneering street ambassadors are wearing FAI colours in anticipation of the historic match and will be on hand to welcome visitors to the city and advise them on the best places to eat, drink and visit.
A host of exciting Republic of Ireland v Australia themed entertainment has been planned at many of sporting Limerick’s pubs, restaurants and hotels to welcome soccer fans and provide post match fun.
