Limerick Local Authorities Manager welcomes jobs announcement by Extensys Inc

Manager of Limerick Local Authorities Conn Murray has welcomed the announcement by Extensys Inc that 25 new jobs will be created in Limerick through the setting up of a new sales and technical support office.

“Today’s announcement is a further vote of confidence in Limerick,” Mr Murray said. “It particularly reflects the strength of our third level institutions as Extensys Inc has identified.  The presence of a large pool of talented third level graduates was a key factor in its decision to locate here and grow its EU client base,” he said.

“As Minister Bruton himself acknowledged, Limerick has now positioned itself as a key location for emerging firms offering real opportunities for growth and expansion.

Mr Murray continued: “This development coupled with recent high end job announcements highlights the competitiveness of Limerick in attracting companies such as Extensys Inc. We are determined to build on this success and entice further early stage fast growing companies to locate in the Mid-West.”
