Cloppenburg Exchange Group 2004

On 26th July Cllr. Michael Hourigan Mayor of Limerick, received Youth groups from Cloppenburg and St. Munchin's Parish in City Hall, during the 34th Exchange of the Group.

A group of 25 young people under the leadership of Ms. Christiana Grenz from Cloppenburg, Germany participated the exchange.

The Mayor referred to developments in Limerick since the early days of the Exchange when the parents of some of the young people were involved. He expressed his thanks the organisers in Limerick, - Patrick Cronin, Geoffrey O' Halloran and other group leaders who made the Exchange a success.

He also thanked the guest families and parents who supported the Exchange through their generosity over the years.
